Softball Recap: Burlingame Comes Up Short

Burlingame fell victim to Wabaunsee and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 22-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bearcats in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost five in a row.

Burlingame's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wabaunsee, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Burlingame will face off against West Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wabaunsee, they will challenge Mission Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Chargers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
