Volleyball Recap: Mater Dei Monarchs vs. Woodbridge Warriors
With a playoff win on the line, Mater Dei rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Woodbridge Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win.
Mater Dei not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Woodbridge between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-16.
Jeremiah Potasi paced Mater Dei's offense, picking up 11 kills. Potasi got some help from Jake Newman and his 34 assists. Potasi was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
