Baseball Recap: Redlands Terriers vs. Beaumont Cougars
Redlands extended their losing streak to six on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 8-15 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beaumont Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Terriers have suffered since March 22, 2024.
As for Beaumont, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since April 1st.
For Beaumont's part, not much got past Alex Diaz, who gave up just three hits to keep Redlands off the board.
On the hitting side, Adam Nelson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnnie Gill, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
As of now, neither Redlands nor Beaumont have any future games scheduled.
