Volleyball Recap: Copperas Cove Takes a Loss

Copperas Cove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lamar Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

Copperas Cove's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lamar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Copperas Cove will head out on the road to square off against Burnet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamar, they will be playing at home against Mansfield Legacy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
