Basketball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 77-49 loss at the hands of the Pioneer Titans. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1145th, while the Titans are ranked 468th).

Glenn now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Pioneer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-5.

Glenn is taking a road trip to take on Oxford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glenn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Pioneer has already played their next match (against Cerritos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
