Grace Escobar was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had five kills, four aces, and 33 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 20 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Compass Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for North Star, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Compass Charter will venture away from home to face off against The Ambrose School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Star, they will head out on the road to square off against Vision at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
