It's playoff time, and Orange Beach had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Alexandria Valley Cubs a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Makos are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

Not much got past KG Favors, who gave up just seven hits to keep Alexandria off the board. Favors has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Orange Beach saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teagan Revette, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Orange Beach's win bumped their record up to 45-2. As for Alexandria, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 42-11-3 record.

Orange Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alexandria, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Albertville on July 1, 2026.
