Basketball Recap: University Laboratory School Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

University Laboratory School lost to North back in December of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The University Laboratory School Junior Rainbows came out on top against the North Saxons by a score of 50-38. Given the Junior Rainbows' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked eighth in Hawaii, while the Saxons are ranked 468th in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

University Laboratory School's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for North, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

University Laboratory School will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something University Laboratory School surely won't give up without a fight. North and Muir will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
