It was a good run, but Rockwall unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waxahachie Indians. Rockwall was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Waxahachie apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Rockwall got a good showing from Vince Estrada, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Rockwall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Cheek, who went 2-for-3 with a triple and a run. Cheek has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
