Baseball Recap: Connersville Has No Trouble Against Rushville

After only two runs in their last matchup, Connersville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Rushville on Monday. The Spartans blew past the Lions 14-2. With that win, the Spartans brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Parker Flanigan was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Connersville is 5-1 when Flanigan posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Brayden Keller was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Connersville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
