Petaluma scaled the state rankings by moving to 748 from 797 this week, the biggest jump in Sonoma County. The Trojans were able to move up by topping Sonoma Valley 24-21.

Petaluma and the Dragons played the closest game in the league this week, with Petaluma eventually emerging with a 24-21 victory. Patrick Bailey threw for 105 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 111 yards in the win.

6-foot-0 quarterback Noel Hernandez of Piner is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,936. He has also thrown 18 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kerr Johnson Jr.. The Analy star has 37 catches for 876 yards.

Rick Krist's team's Gabe Medina is a mere 41 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 143 carries Medina has accumulated 959 yard this year.

Going into this week's game against St. Patrick-St. Vincent, the Prospectors' Hernandez needs 64 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.

The Tigers are in first place, while the Trojans are in fifth place.

The league will see a high scoring game when Analy and Petaluma face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Daniel Bourdon's team comes in having scored 412 this season, while the Trojans have scored 259.

Piner took down Elsie Allen 68-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
