Softball Preview: Swansboro Pirates vs. Richlands Wildcats

Swansboro has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Richlands Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Swansboro has not struggled against West Carteret recently, they managed to flip the script on Friday. Swansboro skirted past West Carteret 5-4. The win was just what Swansboro needed coming off of a 10-0 loss in their prior match.

Addison McMillan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on eight hits. She also set a new season high mark in ERA with .000.
