Southeast is 9-1 against Classen SAS since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Spartans will host the Comets at 4:00 p.m. Southeast has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southeast's last matchup with Santa Fe South could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Spartans lost 16-6 to the Saints. The Spartans have struggled against the Saints recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Southeast saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Timothy Park, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI. Julian Morales also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Classen SAS hadn't done well against Star-Spencer recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Comets won by a run and slipped past the Bobcats 6-5. That's two games straight that the Comets have won by just one run.

George Wallace was excellent, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Kai Checotah was another key player, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Classen SAS was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Star-Spencer only posted a batting average of .250.

The victory made it two in a row for Classen SAS and bumps their season record up to 2-18. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Southeast came out on top in a nail-biter against Classen SAS when the teams last played back in April of 2023, sneaking past 9-8. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
