Basketball Recap: Bancroft-Rosalie Picks Up 11th Straight Win on the Road

Bancroft-Rosalie won the last time they faced Homer and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers blew past the Homer Knights, posting an 80-43 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Homer's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leidy Hunter, who posted seven points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Reed Modlin, who scored ten points.

Bancroft-Rosalie pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Homer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Bancroft-Rosalie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-36 win against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on the 14th. As for Homer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-29 defeat against Bloomfield on the 14th.
