Basketball Recap: Harrisonville Takes a Loss

Harrisonville suffered their closest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Adrian Blackhawks by a score of 39-36. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 33-26 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Harrisonville's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Adrian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Harrisonville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Louisburg at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Adrian will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Butler at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
