Softball Recap: Lower Dauphin Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Lower Dauphin's offense. They came up short against the Central Dauphin Rams on Monday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

Lower Dauphin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Frye, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Frye is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Lower Dauphin's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Central Dauphin, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Looking ahead, Lower Dauphin will be playing in front of their home fans against Mechanicsburg at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Central Dauphin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
