Softball Recap: Lehighton Comes Up Short

Lehighton lost against Northern Lehigh back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Indians lost 16-2 to the Bulldogs. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brynn Mriss was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Lehighton's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Northern Lehigh, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Lehighton will be playing at home against Southern Lehigh at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. Northern Lehigh has already played their next game (against Notre Dame), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
