Baseball Game Preview: Kenwood Bluebirds vs. Randallstown Rams

The Kenwood Bluebirds will challenge the Randallstown Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Kenwood managed to slip by Western Tech & Environmental Science the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bluebirds came up short against the Wolverines on Thursday, falling 13-2.

Kenwood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Boblitz, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Chase Alleyne also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Randallstown unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 15-2 to Catonsville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rams have suffered since March 22nd.

Kenwood dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Randallstown, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Kenwood has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Randallstown struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
