Volleyball Recap: Wahoo Comes Up Short

Wahoo was the 2-0 winner over Seward when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays on Saturday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Wahoo was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13.

When it comes to explaining why Wahoo lost, don't look at Elena Estudillo. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist.

Wahoo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Seward, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

Wahoo has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Oakland-Craig on the 20th. As for Seward, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Concordia on the 20th.
