            The Greenville Hornets will head out on the road to  challenge  the Riverside Bulldogs  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Last Monday, Greenville beat Canton 5-1. The  win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.
 Ashton Dean spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Ladarius Adkins, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. Greenville is undefeated when  Adkins posts two or  more  runs, but 3-9 otherwise.  Denim Saloane also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
 Meanwhile, Riverside entered their tilt with Coahoma County on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Red Panthers get on the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 14 games by more than nine  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Greenville's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
 Greenville took their  win against Riverside  in their previous meeting  back in February by a conclusive  12-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
