Temecula Prep barely beat Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp  11-1 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won 12 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Braden Litt and  Noah Scarlett were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing,  Litt   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Scarlett   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits. Litt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. At bat,  Litt  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base, while  Scarlett  went 1-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Scarlett has become a key player for Temecula Prep: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 5-6 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Ryan Gomez was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. That  stolen base marked the first that  he has  snagged this season.  Cody Servin was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs.
 Temecula Prep  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in February.
Temecula Prep has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-8.
 Coming up, Temecula Prep will look to defend their home field  on Friday against California Military Institute  at 2:00  p.m. The timing is sure in the Patriots' favor as the  squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Rough Riders have been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road. Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
