Softball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Santa Fe dropped their record down to 11-15 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Eldorado Golden Eagles, falling 9-3. The Demons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Eagles earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

A'Mya Jeselink made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Madi Grant was another key player, earning two runs and two stolen bases.

As for Eldorado, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-12. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

On Eldorado's side, Gigi Medina-Vigil was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Martinez, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Santa Fe nor Eldorado have any future games scheduled.
