Ellington gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Eminence Redwings as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Whippets in their matchups with the Redwings: they've now won three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-19.

Megan Copeland paced Ellington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Copeland got some help from Tayleigh Cowin and her 25 assists. Lilyanah Tisdale controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ellington will welcome Bismarck at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eminence, they will face off against Couch at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
