Kobe Craig Dazzles in Damonte Ranch Win

Starting off the list is Damonte Ranch's Kobe Craig, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Craig rushed for 177 yards while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 145 rushing yards dating back to last season.

The win was the third in a row for Damonte Ranch, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. Craig and Damonte Ranch will square off against Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Colson Kermode was instrumental in extending Galena's winning streak to four on Friday. Kermode turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 190 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Kermode might have his next game, a home matchup with Wooster, circled on his calendar. Kermode rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 230 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt the last time he and the Colts duked it out back in November of 2023.

A Season-Best Effort from Joey Jamison Leads Damonte Ranch over Wooster

On Friday, Damonte Ranch got the W thanks in part to Joey Jamison playing the best football he has all season. Jamison threw for 144 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (seven) he has had since back in October of 2023.

This year, Jamison has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 70 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he was only averaging 35.26 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 75.88 passer rating.

On the season, Macias has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 57.1 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 27.13 rushing yards per game.
