Baseball Recap: Family Christian Takes a Loss

Family Christian fell victim to St. Amant and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Gators, falling 8-0. The Flames have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Family Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for St. Amant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Family Christian will face off against East Feliciana at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.19 runs per game on average), something the Flames will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. Amant, they will challenge Denham Springs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Gators are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
