Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Marion walked away with it. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Harrisburg Bulldogs on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Marion, who have now won 13 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Carleigh Midgett and Kyra Graham scored all eight of Marion's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 37 goals.

Marion pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those eight contests. As for Harrisburg, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7-1.

As of now, neither Marion nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
