Recap: Linganore Lancers vs. Phoenixville Phantoms
On Tuesday, Linganore was the victim of a tough 67-41 loss at the hands of Phoenixville. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Linganore has scored all season.
Several Lancers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dylan Hodgson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Hodgson scored a full 29.3% of Linganore's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Christian Petruzzello, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Linganore now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Phoenixville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Linganore won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against South River at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th. South River knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Linganore likes a good challenge. Phoenixville won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Atholton at 11:45 a.m. on December 27th. Atholton is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 60.6 points per game.
