Basketball Game Preview: Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles vs. Edgewood Red Wolves

Calvary Chapel Academy is on a four-game streak of home losses, Edgewood a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles will welcome the Edgewood Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Calvary Chapel Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Synergy Magnet K12 and fell 57-54.

Meanwhile, Edgewood beat Melbourne Central Catholic 55-47 on Wednesday.

Edgewood's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Calvary Chapel Academy came up short against Edgewood in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 49-43. Can Calvary Chapel Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
