Basketball Recap: Maypearl Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It was a good run, but Maypearl unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 41-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keene Chargers . The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Maypearl's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-6. As for Keene, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Maypearl will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Clifton at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Keene, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jonesboro at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Jonesboro will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Keene surely won't give up without a fight.
