Baseball Recap: Maine East Comes Up Short

Maine East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-0 to the Niles North Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

Maine East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Niles North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-16-1.

While Maine East had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
