Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Faith Christian played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Fostoria Baptist Academy Crusaders, falling 53-27. While losing is never fun, Faith Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 598th, while Fostoria Baptist Academy is ranked 234th).

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Fostoria Baptist Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Faith Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-29 win against Juniata Christian on the 21st. As for Fostoria Baptist Academy, they will face off against State Line Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th. Fostoria Baptist Academy's defense has only allowed 26.2 points per game this season, so State Line Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
