Basketball Recap: Crossover Prep Comes Up Short

Crossover Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Tulsa CHEF and fell 59-11. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.

Tulsa CHEF's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kelsey Mace led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. What's more, Mace also racked up four steals, the most she's had since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Justyce Walters, who posted ten points in addition to six assists and six steals.

Crossover Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Tulsa CHEF, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Crossover Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tulsa CHEF has already played their next matchup (against Aspire HomeSchool), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
