After a string of three wins, West's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 14-2 to the Corcoran Panthers. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

West now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Corcoran, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will take on Del Oro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corcoran, they will welcome Firebaugh at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corcoran is facing Firebaugh at the right time seeing as Firebaugh is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
