Carver Collegiate Academy lost against McDonogh 35 back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams took a hard 42-26 fall against the Roneagles. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Carver Collegiate Academy's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for McDonogh 35, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Carver Collegiate Academy will head out to face off against East St. John at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McDonogh 35, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Frederick A. Douglass at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
