Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart-Griffin Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart-Griffin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Lanphier Lions, falling 82-60. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cyclones this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-56 last Thursday.

Sacred Heart-Griffin's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Lanphier, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Sacred Heart-Griffin will challenge Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lanphier, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Glenwood at 7:00 p.m. Lanphier is on a three-game streak of home wins, Glenwood a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
