Academy of the Holy Names extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Tampa Catholic. They never let the Tampa Catholic Crusaders onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. Give the Jaguars' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

They hit Tampa Catholic with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abby Doyle (2), Addison Clifton, Asada McLaughlin, and Carolina Ward.

Academy of the Holy Names is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those seven games. As for Tampa Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.

Academy of the Holy Names will face off against Calvary Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Academy of the Holy Names surely won't give up without a fight.
