Hawthorne Valley has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will challenge the Millbrook Blazers at 6:00 p.m. Millbrook took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hawthorne Valley, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Hawthorne Valley strolled past Webutuck with points to spare, taking the game 57-43.
Oliver Towe went supernova for Hawthorne Valley, scoring 33 points. The contest was Towe's third in a row with at least ten points. Noah Vom Stein was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Millbrook fought the good fight in their overtime game against Mount Academy on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 74-71. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Hawthorne Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Millbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
