Football Game Preview: Michigan City Wolves vs. Crown Point Bulldogs

The Michigan City Wolves will head out to take on the Crown Point Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Michigan City sitting on three straight wins and Crown Point on eight.

On Friday, Michigan City earned a 20-7 victory over La Porte.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Michigan City's defense and their four sacks. Daequon Fields was especially locked on to La Porte's QB and sacked him twice. Michigan City got some further help from Ethan Buskirk: he picked up a sack and made 17 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crown Point). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Chesterton 48-10. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-10.

Crown Point's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Michigan City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Michigan City was dealt a bruising 35-8 defeat at the hands of Crown Point in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
