Softball Recap: Watson Chapel Wildcats vs. Stuttgart Ricebirds
Watson Chapel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 20-0 walloping at the hands of the Stuttgart Ricebirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Watson Chapel of the 17-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.
For Stuttgart's part, the team relied heavily on Kaci Cline, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Seyller, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Watson Chapel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Stuttgart, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
