Baseball Recap: Wauzeka-Steuben Comes Up Short

Wauzeka-Steuben was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-3 to the Seneca Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Monday.

Wauzeka-Steuben's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Seneca, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Wauzeka-Steuben will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Weston at 5:00 p.m. The Silver Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. Seneca has already played their next match (against Cashton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
