Volleyball Recap: Lamar County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Lamar County was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South Lamar on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Fayette County Tigers on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-15.

Lamar County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fayette County, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Lamar County will welcome Winfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. After both having extra time off, Fayette County and Marion County will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
