Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Gavin Hardeman Goes Supernova in Lyons-Decatur Northeast Loss

Starting off the list is Lyons-Decatur Northeast's Gavin Hardeman, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hardeman rushed for 248 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Hardeman must have Bancroft-Rosalie's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hardeman saw the Panthers), he rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

Lyons-Decatur Northeast's probably not too fond of Briggs given he always seems to get the better of them. Briggs rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in September of 2023.
