Soccer Recap: McKinney Takes a Loss

McKinney pushed their score to four the last time they played Plano West, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The McKinney Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plano West Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 338th, while Wolves are ranked 118th).

McKinney's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-7. As for Plano West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-2 record this season.

McKinney didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Prosper on the 4th. As for Plano West, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Allen on the 4th.
