While Mountain View might've come up empty on Friday, Afton Janke wasn't going down without a fight. Janke wasn't messing around, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. The contest was also her third straight with at least one stolen base dating back to last season.

Janke and Mountain View will head out to challenge Owyhee at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Janke had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in April of 2024 18-1. Could another big game from her be enough to change the outcome this time?
