Baseball Recap: Bellevue Eagles vs. Saint Jo Panthers
Bellevue never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They skirted past the Saint Jo Panthers 2-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ryan Jones made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Bellevue's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7-1. As for Saint Jo, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
Bellevue will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
