Basketball Game Preview: Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall Chargers vs. Berwick Academy Bulldogs

After both having extra time off, the Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall Chargers and the Berwick Academy Bulldogs will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-38, which was the final score in Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall's tilt against Lexington Christian Academy back in December of 2024. The Chargers have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Berwick Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Boston Trinity Academy an easy 54-29 victory. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall will need focus on slowing down Noah Daniel, one of several Berwick Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He posted nine points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Tucker Demers, who had two points and three steals.

Even though they lost, Berwick Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boston Trinity Academy only pulled down three offensive rebounds.
