Baseball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Blackfoot Broncos. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Columbia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus DeLeon, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Blackfoot, the victory (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Columbia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-4 loss against Jerome on the 21st. As for Blackfoot, they have also already played their next match, a 7-1 win against Boise on the 20th.
