Jasper's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Omaha with a sharp 19-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Hector was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 8-1 to Danville. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jasper's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Hector, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
