Basketball Recap: Nuview Bridge Comes Up Short

Nuview Bridge played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Garey Vikings, falling 74-35. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-19.

Leading Garey to victory were Keivon Chatman and Miguel Flores. Chatman almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine steals, while Flores went 8-for-10 en route to 21 points and six steals. Esteban Ruvalcaba was another key player, putting up 15 points and five steals.

Nuview Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Nuview Bridge will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Rubidoux at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Garey, they will face off against Glendale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
