Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piscataquis). Everything went their way against the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners on Wednesday as they made off with a 20-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Piscataquis' win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Deer Isle-Stonington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
